Limestone Heritage Festival Fireworks Saturday

Last updated on Tuesday, June 26, 2018

(BEDFORD) - The Limestone Heritage Festival Fireworks display will take place Saturday June 30th at dusk (around
10 p.m.), on Bedford’s Downtown Square.

This is an all aerial fireworks display which can be seen throughout the downtown area.

Bedford Revitalization Inc. would like to remind those attending the festival to avoid entering areas that are taped off or barricaded near the launch site, which is located in front of the Downtown Depot near the corner of 14th and J streets. These areas are marked off for the safety of the public and for the safety of the pyrotechnician. There is no ground display, so it is not necessary to try to attain seating close to the launch site.

Bedford City Police, Lawrence County Sheriff Department, Bedford Fire Department along with festival volunteers will be stationed near the launch site to direct those in attendance away from the marked areas. Areas prohibited will be defined by tape, road barricades, street cones and personnel. No admittance will be allowed in these areas after 5 p.m.

Officials would like to thank the public in advance for their cooperation to be able to provide a safe and fun evening for the community.
