Lawrence County Sparks Club Goes Fishing

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Sparks Club is geared toward beginner anglers in grades 3-12 who want to learn to fish.

The event will be September 8 at Patoka Lake Osborn Ramp at 9 a.m. The rain date will be September 15.

If you are not a current 4-H member the cost is $20. If you are a 4-member the event is free to attend. Youth 18 years of age will need to purchase an Indiana Fishing License.

Al small lunch of hot dogs, chips and a drink will be provided. You can bring a cooler with your own snacks and drinks.

If you have your own fishing equipment you can bring it, but for those who don't there will be a few poles available.

Fishing will be done from the dock and life jackets are optional.
