When police arrived on the scene they found 22-year-old Austin Zehr walking in the middle of the street.

Police asked Zehr to move to the sidewalk to walk for safety reasons. He complied but within minutes Zehr was seen back in the middle of the street. When officers approached him he took off running between nearby houses.

Officers chased after Zehr and he was captured but then began resisting the officers.

Officers say Zehr appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, which Zehr admitted to.

Zehr was transported to Memorial Hospital for medical clearance and then arrested on charges of resisting arrest, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
