(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police closed a section of West Third Street after a construction worker struck a gas main during Monday morning rush hour.
A 4-inch gas main was damaged around 8 a.m. near Third Street and North Gates Drive.
Police officers and Indiana State Police troopers closed that intersection, just west of the bridge on State Road 37 and access to southbound traffic at West Third Street.
The road was reopen just after 11 a.m. Monday.
