Diane Buzzell Named Director Of IU Health Foundation

(BEDFORD) - Diane Buzzell of Bloomington has been named the permanent Director of Philanthropy for the IU Health South Central Region.

In her interim role over the past five months, Buzzell helped establish the infrastructure for IU Health Foundation's South Central Region, and she has been an effective leader in communicating important messages regarding the IU Health Foundation to stakeholders in Bloomington, Bedford, Paoli and Martinsville.

As director, she will serve as a member of the IU Health Foundation leadership team and will be responsible for creating and executing all philanthropic strategies supporting the South Central Region. This includes key initiatives involving the IU Health Bloomington/RAHC building project, in addition to strategic funding priorities identified by IU Health Bloomington, IU Health Bedford, IU Health Paoli and IU Health Morgan.

Buzzell has worked in philanthropy for the past decade. She has worked in Monroe County and the surrounding region through her development work with Indiana University School of Public Health and Cardinal Stage Company in addition to her recent roles in support of IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
