(MITCHELL) - Dan Wade has been appointed to fill the opening on the ballot for the Marion Township Advisory Board by the Lawrence County Republican Party Chairman.
He was the only republican candidate in good standing who submitted a letter of interest no later than 72 hours before the scheduled caucus.
All trustee offices are on the ballot again in November.
The caucus scheduled for this evening has been canceled.
