Prince has been in the water industry for 19 years, most recently as Assistant Superintendent of CBU's Meter Services. He has direct work experience in many aspects of the water system and holds a Distribution System certification from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. At CBU, he has been leading the campaign to update the City's water meters from manual-read to remote-read, which will help control costs for both the utility and its customers.

The T&D Department at CBU, which has an annual budget of approximately $5.9 million, oversees the installation and maintenance of the infrastructure for the City's water, sewer, and stormwater utilities. Prince has been Acting Assistant Director since his predecessor transitioned into the newly created role of Assistant Director of Operations in March.
