Bloomington's Bicentennial Themed Parade Scheduled For July 4th

(BLOOMINGTON) - Celebrate 200 years of Bloomington and Monroe County history with a Bicentennial-themed entry in this year’s Fourth of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4th.

Entry applications will be accepted until the parade maximum of 100 entries is received. Entry fee is $25.

Bands and musical groups, classic cars, floats, and walking groups are invited to showcase their patriotism and love for the Bloomington community with an entry in the parade.

Schedule of event:

The Fourth of July Parade is proudly presented by Bloomington Parks and Recreation and partner Downtown Bloomington Inc., along with title sponsor Bloomington Board of Realtors.

Parade Route:

The parade begins at the corner of Seventh Street and Indiana Avenue, marches west to Walnut Street, north to Eighth Street, west to College Avenue, south to Kirkwood Avenue, east on Kirkwood Avenue, and ends at Indiana Avenue.
