Lawrence County Police arrested Michael Dagg of Bedford on charges of criminal confinement, intimidation, battery resulting in bodily injury and unlawful possession of a syringe.

According to a Lawrence County Superior Court probable cause affidavit, the female victim went to the Sheriff's Department Sunday reporting Daggy had held her against her will and injured her during a dispute at the motel on US 50 East.

The woman told police the two had been arguing after she claims she found Daggy's drugs in the bathroom.

Daggy allegedly threw the woman on the bed and bit her arm. He then placed a chair in front of the door and sat down in it while holding a loaded syringe, preventing her from leaving.

When Daggy went to the bathroom, she texted her cousin, who came to the motel and knocked on the door. That is when the woman says Daggy pulled out a knife threatening her with it and ordered her not to answer the door.

Daggy was arrested and is being held on a $50,000 surety or $5,005 cash bond.
