Becky's Place Making Headway In Matching Campaign

(BEDFORD) - Becky’s Place has raised $56,671.15 to their goal of raising $100,000 before June 30th.

That number will grow as it does not include latest batch of gifts that were sent to the lockbox, sponsorship funds nor the proceeds from the Clayton Anderson concert according to Cheri Bush, Director of Development for Becky's Place.

Becky's Place provides shelter and creates hope for women and children who are experiencing homelessness while also helping them move toward a life of self-sufficiency.

Currently, there are 12 women and 7 children staying at Becky's Place.

The funds will be put towards an emergency fund, endowment and day-to-day operations for Becky's Place.

Becky's Place changes lives everyday serves about 100 women and children each year.
