The festival will feature eight days of bluegrass music and pay tribute to Bill Monroe, an American mandolinist, singer and songwriter who helped create the style of music known as bluegrass.

More than 70 bands are scheduled to perform at the event, which is known as the "Mecca of Bluegrass," according to a press release from the Brown County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The lineup for the festival includes the Malpass Brothers, Blue Highway, Flatt Lonesome and more.

The family-friendly event will consist of more than 10 hours of entertainment each day, and will also include music and instrument workshops nearly every day.
