Bloomington Police were called to the car dealership at 2425 West Third Street at 2:31 p.m. on Monday.

When police arrived they were told by the employee that a woman armed with a hatched came to the office demanding to speak to the owner. The woman claimed the owner had swindled her son.

The woman was told the owner had not been to the store in years and that angered the woman.

The woman threatened to cut the employees head off and slammed the hatchet into the employee's desk. She then fled the dealership and the employee called police.

Police found 44-year-old Brandy Turner, who is homeless, walking east on Third Street. The woman was incoherent and yelling as she walked along the roadway.

She was arrested on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief and criminal recklessness and three outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

While being booked into the jail, police found she had a used syringe.

She is being held on a $10,500 bond.
