(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell woman suffered a broken leg after a two-vehicle accident at US 50 West and Stumphole Bridge Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County accident report, 60-year-old Lisa Morse was flown by helicopter for treatment.
Police say Morse was driving south on Stumphole Bridge Road in a 2013 Volkswagen Eos at the same time 47-year-old Shawn Horock was traveling west on US 50 West in a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Police say Morse did not stop at the stop sign on Stumphole Bridge Road and drove through the intersection. Morse's car collided with Horock's SUV.
Horock complained of neck pain.
