(BLOOMINGTON) - Several construction projects are taking place around the Indiana University Campus.
Jordan Avenue Parking Garage Partial Closure
Portions of the upper deck of the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage will be closed in phases now until May 18th for sealing and striping work. All other levels of the garage will remain open. Schedule is subject to change.
Woodlawn Avenue Closure & 8th Street/Forrest Two-Way Traffic
Woodlawn Avenue between 7th and 8th Streets was closed Tuesday and will remain closed until August 24th for underground utilities work. Traffic on 8th Street and Forrest Avenue will become two-way to serve as a detour. Schedule is subject to change.
Old Crescent Sidewalk Closures
Sidewalks on the west side of Wylie and Kirkwood Halls will be closed until August 1st for replacement with brick paths. Schedule is subject to change.
Union Street & Related Sidewalk Closures
Union Street from 10th Street south to the entrance drive for the Student Services building closed Monday and will remain closed until August 3rd, for underground utilities work. The service drive for Eigenmann Hall and the loading dock for Cedar Hall also will be unavailable. Sidewalks on the west side of Union Street will be open; sidewalks on the east side of Union Street will be closed. Schedule is subject to change.
Indiana Institute on Disability & Community Periodic Sidewalk Closures
Portions of the sidewalks near buildings G, H, I, J, K, and L at the Indiana Institute on Disability & Community will closed in phases through July 16th, for underground utilities work. Access to individual buildings will remain available, including accessibility ramps. Schedule is subject to change.
Range Road/14th Street Closures
Portions of Range Road and 14th Street were closed and are scheduled to reopen on May 11th for underground utilities work. Schedule is subject to change.
ROTC/Data Center Parking Lot Section Closure
A portion of the parking lot near the ROTC Building and the Data Center was closed on Feb. 21 and will reopen on June 26th, to stage equipment for a roofing project at the ROTC Building. The sidewalk will remain open except as needed to load materials to and from the roof. Schedule is subject to change.
Forest Quad Construction Zone
Portions of the parking lot west of Forest Quad will be closed for construction staging due to renovations at Forest Quad through July 15th. Schedule is subject to change.
ALF III Construction Zone
Portions of the parking lot at the Auxiliary Library Facility, as well as surrounding landscape, will be closed for construction of an addition to the facility through June 19th. Schedule is subject to change.
Eskenazi Museum of Art Construction Zone
The parking lot north of the Eskenazi Museum of Art will be used for construction staging for the museum's renovations from Nov. 5, 2017 - Dec. 31, 2018. Access to the loading dock for the School of Public Health will remain open. Portions of sidewalks surrounding the building also will be unavailable. Schedule is subject to change.
Wilkinson Hall Construction Zone
A portion of the parking lot south of Gladstein Fieldhouse and east of Cook Hall will be closed as the construction site for Wilkinson Hall from Sept. 26, 2017-Sept. 18, 2018. Schedule is subject to change.
