(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police arrested a Bedford man after he admitted to molesting a girl.
Police arrested 59-year-old Robert Bell of Bedford last Thursday on four counts of child molesting.
According to a Lawrence County Superior Court II probable cause affidavit, police began their investigation after the Department of Child Services received a report of the crime.
The 13-year-old girl told a child advocate at Susie's Place that Bell performed sexual acts on her in two different incidents.
When police interviewed Bell he admitted to performing the sex acts and touching the girl inappropriately.
He was arrested and is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond or $200,000 surety.
