Limestone Heritage Festival Seeking Sponsors

Last updated on Tuesday, May 29, 2018

(BEDFORD) - Limestone Heritage Festival is one of the most cherished Bedford hometown celebrations and its almost here thanks the non profit organization Bedford Revitalization, Inc. (BRI).

"We are very fortunate to have such a long-standing tradition of celebrating our nation's independence. People travel from outside our community and state to join the Independence Day celebration in Bedford. Why? Because
of our 'sense of community' and our spirit of celebration!" said Susan Gales, BRI President, in a letter.

BRI works to find sponsors and financial support to be able to put on the Limestone Heritage Festival and other events like Christmas Around the Square and Bedford's parades.

BRI oversees all aspects of the Limestone Heritage Festival in partnership with the City of Bedford solely on operating funds from the generosity of the Bedford Community.

According to the Gales, the patriotic fireworks alone can cost more than $8,500 and there many more expenses as well.

"Bedford Revitalization, Inc.... is a 501(c)3, therefore your donation qualifies as a charitable donation. Your sponsorship of this event will help us raise funds needed to pay for the LHF Fireworks, Parade and two days of live entertainment," said Gales.

Donations can be dropped off at Bedford Federal Savings Bank "ATTN: Susan Gales" or donations can be made directly to BRI through any of their event Facebook Pages:
