(GREENE CO.) - A head-on collision in Eastern Greene County resulted in the death of a Springville man and injured three others on Friday night.
The accident happened at the intersection of State Road 45 and Carmichael Road at 9:23 p.m.
37-year-old Jeremiah Murphy of Springville sustained fatal injuries in the accident. His passengers, Kayla Faubion and a child, were transported to IU Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the second vehicle, 51-year-old Raul Ramirez, also of Springville, was also injured and taken to IU Bloomington Hospital.
Police say the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions.
The accident remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were Indiana State Police, Greene County Ambulance, Center Fire Department.
