Free Community Baby Shower Saturday For New And Expecting Parents

(BEDFORD) - Purdue Extension, the Live Well Coalition and other healthcare organizations are hosting a Community Baby Shower Saturday for any new and expecting parents living in or near Lawrence County.

The event is free.

The shower will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.

Refreshments will be provided by St. Vincent/Ascension and prizes from the Baby Shower committee will also be available.

This event was made possible by a grant from the Lawrence County Cooperating Council with partnership from the Community Health & Wellness Center, Hoosier Uplands, Purdue Extension and others.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and guests should arrive by 10:45 a.m. to be able to visit the vendor booths. Child care will not be provided. Parents should make arrangements for children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years of age.
