(BEDFORD) - Property tax statements are in the mail with the Spring installment due date of May 10th and the Fall installment date of Nov. 13.
Current tax and credit card payment information may be found online at www.lawrencecounty.in.gov on the treasurer's information page.
Residents need to remember Courthouse has a security screening process and you must enter through the north doors.
The Treasurer's office will be closed 5 business days following the May 10th deadline to complete on time mail posting. It will re-open Thursday, May 17th.
Lawrence County will hold their 2018 Tax Sale on Wednesday, September 26th.
Properties three or more installments in arrears will be certified for the Tax Sale the morning of June 29th. Following the certification, the property must be paid current to remove it from the Tax Sale.
