(BEDFORD) - The Technical Education Division of Indiana Department of Education has been asked to conduct an extensive audit of all aspects of the North Lawrence Career Center program.
As of Monday afternoon, North Lawrence Career Center Director Glenn Weil and counselor Kim Magness have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into serious irregularities in vocational program reporting.
To continue to meet the academic needs of its students, an interim director will begin at NLCS on Tuesday, April 3, so school corporation and Indiana Dept. of Education representatives can proceed with the investigation.
The center serves students from five area districts in addition to North Lawrence - Shoals, Mitchell, Orleans, Medora and Brownstown.
