Motorcyclist Dies After Striking Cow On State Road 59

(GREENE CO.) - An accident on State Road 59 between Linton and Jasonville left a motorcyclist dead.

The accident happened around 12 a.m. this morning.

According to the Greene County Sheriff's Department, 55-year-old Richard Cash, of Linton, was traveling south on North State Road 5, south of County ROad 400 North when his 1989 Honda VF700 struck a cow.

Cash was thrown from the motorcycle.

When officers arrived on scene the man had no pulse and was not breathing, he had suffered fatal injuries.
