Last updated on Tuesday, April 3, 2018

(MEDORA) - Medora Community School Corp. plans to offer summer school this year.

From 8 a.m. to noon June 4 through 8, third- through sixth-graders can attend a STEM camp to learn more about science, technology, engineering and math.

Third- through sixth-graders also can take summer school classes from 8 a.m. to noon July 9 through 26.

Both of those programs are being made possible through a grant the school received. High school students will be offered summer school from 8 a.m. to noon June 4 through 22.

Superintendent Roger Bane said there needs to be at least 15 students enrolled for that session to occur.

The online courses will be economics, U.S. history, algebra 1 and composition. Students also can enroll in supervised agricultural experience, led by Ashley Kincaid.

Signups for summer school will begin soon.
