Last updated on Thursday, April 26, 2018

(SEYMOUR) - The inaugural Crossroads Acoustic Fest will be Friday and Saturday in downtown Seymour.

Modeled after other music festivals around the country, the event will offer a lineup of singers and songwriters in a quiet "listening room" setting at three indoor venues in downtown Seymour: Rails Craft Brew & Eatery, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 655 and the Jackson County Visitor Center.

Performances will run from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday and from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Shows will be going on simultaneously both nights, and festivalgoers will be able to choose which artists they want to see and move freely from one venue to another.

Performers include Will Kimbrough and Tommy Womack appearing as Daddy, The Howlin' Brothers, Gabriel Kelley, Levi Parham, The Cerny Brothers, Tim Grimm, Maybe April, Danny Flanigan, Alan Rhody, Buffalo Wabs & The Prince Hill Hustle, Brooke Annibale, Count This Penny, Justin Paul Lewis, Corey Brumback, Joel Curtis, John Clay and three with local roots -- Stephanie Lambring, Don Pedigo and John Whitcomb.

Wristbands good for both days are available for $40 at crossroadsacousticfest.com. Single-day tickets are not available, and tickets will not be sold at the door.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will benefit Southern Indiana Center for the Arts in Seymour.
