According to a Dubois County Police report, police were called to a home in the 9600 block of State Road 64 at about 10:23 p.m.

Police arrested 47-year-old Woodie Edwards of Huntingburg. He was traveling westbound on State Road 64 when the 1996 Ford F-150 he was driving went off the south side of the road and struck the home, causing damage to the foundation as well as a 2011 Chevrolet Impala parked in the garage.

Edwards was taken to Memorial Hospital for a medical evaluation where he submitted to a blood draw. Police say his alcohol-blood level was 0.09 percent.

He was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and booked into the Dubois County Security Center.

He has since posted bond pending a court appearance on Wednesday, May 2, in Dubois County Superior Court.
