(BLOOMINGTON) - One man was arrested after a fight at the Bluebird in Bloomington early Thursday morning.
Bloomington Police arrested 23-year-old Ignazio Catania on charges of battery and possession of cocaine after he punched a man in the face several times, knocking the man unconscious outside of the Bloomington bar.
During his arrested police found cocaine in Catania's wallet.
Police say Catania was arrested after a Bloomington Police officer drove by the bar and saw a large group of men dragging another man onto the sidewalk. The officer, while attempting to break up the fight, saw Catania punching the man.
Witnesses told police the fight started in the bar when the 29-year-old victim began pushing through the crowd and punched another man in the face.
Witnesses say a group of men dragged the man who was pushing people out of the bar before staff could call police and have him removed from the bar.
