Disruption At Ferdinand Factory Leads To Arrest

(HUNTINGBURG) - A Huntingburg man was arrested after allegedly after making disturbing statements at MasterBrand Cabinets in Ferdinand on Wednesday.

Police were called to the factor at 264 West 9th Street at 1:22 p.m. reporting an employee was causing a disturbance at the plant.

When police arrived they found 20-year-old Jonathan Ramirez in the office waiting room. Employees at MasterBrand, told police that the Ramirez was acting as if he was under the influence of some type of drug.

Police determined Ramirez had driven his car to the plant and found it in the parking lot running.

Police say Ramirez had marijuana, rolling papers and a small marijuana cigarette. He was taken to Memorial Hospital for a medical evaluation.

After being treated Ramirez was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct and taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
