Deadline For Lawrence County Community Foundation Grant Cycle Today At 4 p.m.

(BEDFORD) - The deadline to file for the Lawrence County Community Foundation’s 2018 Open Grant cycle is today at 4 p.m.

The foundation says more $70,000 in grant funds is available for charitable programs and projects that serve the residents of Lawrence County like parks, disadvantage children and senior citizens.

The 2018 cycle is funded by the Patrick and Sharon Robbins Fund, William A. Poling Fund for Lawrence County, David Allen Jacobs Community Fund, Bob Bridge Fund, Earlyn and Alvera Burkhart Hill and Orlin and Imogene Burkett Memorial Fund, Harold "Mac" and Shirley McReynolds Fund, Dollens Fund, Chloral Hilderbrand Community Grants Fund, Bicentennial Fund, Ralph W. "Shorty" and Bette Robison Fund, and the German American Bancorp Fund.

The 2018 grant application is available online and application packets can be picked up at the Community Foundation office at 1324 K St., Suite 150, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Non-profit organizations recognized by the IRS as having 501(c)(3) status. Educational institutions, and governmental entities are eligible to apply.
