(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are investigating a rape that happened in the 100 block of South Westplex Avenue, at 9:53 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene after a 911 call from a 49-year-old woman who was crying and asking for help outside a business.
The woman told police she had been sexually assaulted behind the building while she was trying to sleep.
The woman was transported by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
The case remains under investigation.
