(BEDFORD) - 26-year-old Cory Mason of Bedford was sentenced to 10 years by Judge William Sleva on Thursday in Lawrence Superior Court II after he pleaded guilty to molesting a child in a negotiated plea deal.
Mason will serve six years at the Indiana Department of Correction, with the remaining four years to be spent on supervised probation.
Mason was arrested on a warrant in May 2017 after a 17-year-old girl went to Indiana State Police on Oct. 13, 2016 and reported she woke up with Mason in her bed at a home in Bedford. She told them he touched her without her consent and had sex with her.
