(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he crashed his car in the Wal-Mart parking lot Sunday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 43-year-old John Werner of Bedford was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication after police were called to Walmart just before 5 p.m.
Police say Werner hit a concrete pole with his 2014 General Motors Acadia.
Officers did not see Werner driving the vehicle, but Werner did state he was driving the vehicle when he collided with the pole.
While speaking with Werner police smelled the odor of alcohol emitting from his breath and person and he was arrested.
