Turkey Track Road And Pine Boulevard East Of SR 37 To Close Saturday

(BLOOMINGTON) - As part of the traffic switch scheduled to occur this weekend, access to Turkey Track Road and Pine Boulevard east of State Road 37 will be permanently eliminated.

The closures are required for reconstruction of the northbound lanes of State Road 37 and construction of local access roads that will provide mobility and interchange access for residents to the east of State Road 37.

As a reminder, when the traffic shift is in place there will a limited number of access points at which motorists can enter and exit State Road 37 between Big Indian Creek and Bryant's Creek. From north to south those are:

Weather permitting, the final traffic configuration is anticipated to be in place by 6 p.m. Saturday.

As construction and paving on local access roads progresses, some of these access points may close as road connectivity is completed. Public notice will be given prior to any access road closure.

Motorists are urged to pay attention to changing traffic patterns and conditions over the next few days. The posted speed limit remains 45 miles per hour throughout the entire I-69 Section 5 construction zone, and drivers are encouraged to pay attention to traffic conditions, put down phones and other devices, and leave plenty of room between vehicles.
