(BEDFORD) - Joe Timbrook has joined the Lawrence County Economic Growth Council as the Director of Career Development.
The Director of Career Development is responsible for coordination of the Lawrence County Education Coalition (a group of 60+ stakeholders interested in advancing lifelong learning and career attainment). Timbrook will work with area school systems and industry to act as a primary point of contact between industry, education, and training.
Additionally, he will analyze and report outcomes of programs and work to maximize the positive impact. Ultimately,
the position will serve to increase the number of workers qualified to fill employment positions by adopting an industry driven approach that aligns workforce needs with education and training offerings.
Joe Timbrook most recently served as the COO for Radius Indiana. Timbrook served as the leader of several major regional initiatives and provided oversight and direction for business development within Radius since 2011.
