Rose Acre Farms Reaches Million-Family Mark With Its Latest Indiana Egg Delivery

Last updated on Sunday, March 4, 2018

(SEYMOUR) - Rose Acre Farms, the nation’s second largest egg producer, will have helped serve an estimated one million needy families with its donation next week of 3,600 dozen eggs to St. Vincent DePaul’s Food Pantry in Indianapolis.

Making eggs available to deserving families through Indiana's HATCH for Hunger program has long been a mission for Rose Acre, a rural Indiana egg farm operated by a family whose roots go back to the 1930's.

"Eggs are a great source of protein and essential vitamins that can improve brain function," said Tony Wesner, Chief Operating Officer. "Two eggs have half the protein a child needs each day. At Rose Acre Farms we pride ourselves on the small-town values of quality and community service that remain at the heart of everything we do."

Please join Rose Acres on March 6th at 10 a.m. as we drop off dozens of eggs to St. Vincent DePaul's Food Pantry located at 3001 30th Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. Families can shop for food items and pick up eggs from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
