(BLOOMINGTON) - The City of Bloomington Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration Commission invites the public to gather on Wednesday, April 4 for a Remembrance Day March from 4:30 p.m. until 6:05 p.m., commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The program will begin at Rev. Ernest D. Butler Park at Fairview & 9th Streets.

"I look forward to being a participant in this walk honoring Dr. King. His words and deeds inspire me on a daily basis," said Mayor John Hamilton.
