Lawrence County Community Foundation Seeking Nominations For Robert E. Lee II Memorial Scholarship

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Community Foundation is seeking nominations for Robert E. Lee II Memorial Scholarship.

Community members are asked to nominate a Bedford North Lawrence High School senior for the Robert E. Lee II Memorial Scholarship by completing a nomination form found online.

Former Lawrence County Coroner Robert E. Lee II, was 38 when he passed away from cancer in 2001.

The nomination will also include a narrative about the student - including how they embody the spirit and passion that was so well loved in Lee.

While a student's academic achievement, financial need and community involvement are important elements in the selection process, the committee seeks candidates who reflect Robert's voracious appetite for life and his genuine concern for neighbors and friends.

Criteria

The nominee must be involved in one or more of the following activities:

Recommendations must be received on or before Monday, April 16th by 4 p.m.
