Last updated on Monday, March 19, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Harrodsburg man was arrested after he allegedly shot at an apartment building in the 3000 block of South Walnut Street Pike on Saturday night.

Around 9:40 p.m. a resident called police to say a man was shooting at his apartment building.

The caller had heard a disturbance outside and looked out his window. Outside was a male who demanded to know what the caller was looking at. When the caller did not retreat from the window, the male pulled out a BB gun and began shooting at the window.

When police arrived they found damage to the bricks around the window.

The caller was able to tell police what the male was driving; a white Ford Explorer.

Police found the vehicle and a man matching the description of the suspect driving the vehicle.

A police dog was called to the scene and found narcotics in the vehicle.

Police arrested 28-year-old Jeffrey Owens on charges of intimidation, criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a probation violation.
