French Lick Teen Injured After Flipping Vehicle

(HAYSVILLE) - A French Lick teenager was injured when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed on Sendelweck Curve on Tuesday.

According to a Dubois County Sheriff Department report, officers responded to the accident around 3 p.m.

Police say 17-year-old Jacie Brown was traveling eastbound on State Road 56. She entered Sendelweck Curve and lost control of her 2003 Saturn on the wet roadway. The vehicle over-corrected causing the car to go off the south side of the roadway, hitting an embankment and then flipping over onto its top before sliding back onto the roadway. finally coming to a stop facing east.

Brown, complained of back pain was treated at the scene by Haysville Volunteer Fire Department First Responders before being transported by Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Indiana State Police and a Uebelhor & Sons wrecker also assisted at the scene.
