Bedford Teen Arrested After Backing Into State Trooper Vehicle

(ORANGE CO.) - Indiana State Police say a Bedford teen crashed into a patrol car early Sunday morning after being pulled over on State Road 56 in Orange County.

As the trooper was getting out of his vehicle, 18-year-old Loyd Wilson put his vehicle in reverse and backed into the front the the trooper's patrol car.

No one was injured during the incident.

Wilson failed field sobriety tests and was taken to IU Health Hospital in Paoli where he tested positive for THC, a component in marijuana.

Wilson was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, operating a vehicle while under the influence of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, and operating a vehicle while never licensed.
