WTIU Seeking Co-Host For New Indiana Travel Show

Last updated on Thursday, February 15, 2018

(BLOOMINGTON) - WTIU Public Television is currently seeking an on-air co-host/presenter for its newly branded Indiana travel program Journey Indiana.

Debuting this September, Journey Indiana is a bi-weekly locally-produced WTIU television program exploring the distinctive culture, history, and artistry that shape our state. Building on thirteen seasons of The Weekly Special (weeklyspecial.org), an Emmy award-winning WTIU television series, Journey Indiana takes the hosts and its audience out of the studio and into communities across the state to uncover hidden Hoosier stories.

The co-host's job duties include conducting interviews on-location with a variety of guests, introducing pre-recorded video stories, voice talent for edited stories, and interacting with co-host and guests on location. Field on-location shoots will be bi-weekly, lasting approximately 8 hours. Locations and exact schedule varies.

To receive a co-host audition appointment, please email a cover letter, resume, available web-based work samples, and headshot photo to Sarah Curtiss: scurtiss@indiana.edu.

Applications will be accepted through March 9.

A complete job description is available at: https://indianapublicmedia.org/about/cohost.
