Winter Driving Tips Brought To You By Sipes Body and Glass

Last updated on Wednesday, February 14, 2018

(BEDFORD) - Indiana weather is not always predictable, especially this winter as the forecast has called for weather conditions from inches of snow to 50 degree temperatures.

Early this January, the snow storm that came over night caused all but 19 counties in Indiana to issue a travel advisory, watch and even warning.

According to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security a travel advisory indicates the lowest level of local travel advisory and that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas. A travel warning indicates conditions are threatening to the safety of the public and only essential travel- like to and from work- should take place. The final advisory, a travel warning, is the highest level of advisory where the travel is restricted to emergency management workers only.

It is always a good idea to review good winter driving habits. Here is a list of winter driving tips brought to you by Sipes Body and Glass.

Sipes Body and Glass has a full service mechanic shop along with their collision repair and auto detailing services all under one roof - metaphorically. Sipes Body and Glass has positively transformed their block at 1001 7th St into a sight to see as their four buildings each house a different service offered.

According to Angie Sipes, the mechanic shop that opened in May of 2016 was built in order to better serve their customers as they no longer have to out source mechanic work. They offer the following services: alignments, engine, vehicle electrical, headlights & taillights, brakes, oil changes, air conditioning, tires & wheels and transmissions.

Sipes Body and Glass will even offer a loaner vehicle while your car is in the shop.
