(LEESVILLE) - Three people were arrested in connection to an armed robbery in the 60 block Leesville Loop.

Lawrence County Police were alerted to the armed robbery at 4:16 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4th.

"A female victim reported two males entered the home wearing hoods, gloves and covering their faces," says Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults. "One male was armed with a gun."

The victim told police the men left with her purse, guns and coins in an unknown vehicle.

On Tuesday, Feb. 6th, police received information that 24-year-old Michael Parker and 23-year-old Dakota Stinson had attempted to sell the coins and could possibly be involved in the armed robbery.

Then on Wednesday, Feb. 7th police arrested 23-year-old Kody Moody. Police found Moody with meth and a stolen firearm taken from the home in Leesville.

Moody told police that Parker had called Moody for a ride on the morning of the robbery.

Police discovered that Moody, Parker and Stinson were driven to Leesville and dropped off and later picked up and taken back to Oolitic.

Moody was arrested on charges of possession of meth, armed robbery and burglary.

Police recovered the coins taken in the robbery in Oolitic.

On Feb. 8th, police arrested Parker on outstanding warrants of theft and unauthorized entry and charges of armed robbery and burglary.

They then located Stinson at his home on Peaceful Valley Road on charges of armed robbery and burglary.

"Charges are pending and the investigation continues into the involvement of a fourth suspect for assisting in a burglary and armed robbery," Chief Deputy Shoults added.
