(BEDFORD) - There is still time to enroll at Ivy Tech Community College for classes that begin March 19th.
Some courses are offered in Bedford at the StoneGate Arts and Education Center, 405 I St.
General education courses offered in Bedford are Introduction to psychology, managerial accounting and student success for university transfer. The courses are part of Indiana's Statewide Transfer General Education Core and seamlessly transfer to all public four-year institutions in Indiana. In addition, the courses are either prerequisites or degree requirements for Ivy Tech associate degrees. Managerial accounting counts toward an associate degree in accounting or business administration.
Another course offered in Bedford is basic electricity, which is a requirement for associate degrees in HVAC, industrial technology and advanced automation and robotics technology.
Many courses also are available online.
New students should apply online at ivytech.edu/applynow and schedule an appointment to enroll at the Stone Gate Arts and Education Center by calling (812) 279-8126, ext. 3, or emailing vreed16@ivytech.edu. Information about courses offered in Bedford or online can be found at ivytech.edu/bedford.
