State Road 37 Lane Restrictions And Intermittent Closures At Tapp Road For Bridge Construction

(BLOOMINGTON) - Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 8 a.m., the right lane of northbound State Road 37 will be closed for bridge construction and placement of bridge beams at the Tapp Road interchange.

Law enforcement officers will assist INDOT with staging complete 20-minute closures of northbound State Road 37 beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday. The full intermittent closures of northbound State Road 37 will continue through early Wednesday morning.

The same scenario will take place on southbound State Road 37 at the Tapp Road interchange beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. The right lane of southbound SR 37 will be closed for bridge construction.

Law enforcement officers will assist INDOT with staging complete 20-minute closures of southbound State Road 37 beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday. The intermittent full closures of southbound State Road 37 will continue through early Friday morning.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution and be aware of the intermittent closures in the Tapp Road area during the overnight hours both Tuesday into Wednesday and Thursday into Friday. If possible, motorists should avoid the area or plan for possible delays.
