Martin Co. Sheriff's Office Hosting Free Active Shooter Survival Workshop Tonight

(LOOGOOTEE) - The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is hosting an Active Shooter Survival Workshop tonight at the Martin County Community Building in Loogootee.

The calls will begin at 6 p.m. and will provide training on how to increase your odds of surviving an active shooter event.

The program is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.

The program, which emphasizes the concept of RUN-HIDE-FIGHT, will be taught by law enforcement officers.

All organizational leaders are encouraged to attend, especially those who work in confined areas, such as churches, banks, schools, and other office like settings.
