Lane Restrictions On State Road 58 Monday And Tuesday

Last updated on Wednesday, February 14, 2018

(HELTONVILLE) - Indiana Department of Transportation’s contractor plans to have crews clearing trees and brush from worksite areas along State Road 58 east of Heltonville next Monday and Tuesday.

Motorists may encounter restrictions on State Road 58 west of State Road 446 where two culverts will be removed and replaced in the spring.

Flaggers will direct traffic around the single-lane closures.

Ragle Inc. is the state's contractor for this $461,365 small structure replacement project.

The Newburgh-Indiana contractor will replace the small structure carrying Leatherwood Creek - located 2.56 miles east of State Road 446 at Zelma - in mid-May. Then it will install a 3-sided box culvert - 1.65 miles east of Heltonville -
in mid- to late-June.

Both installations will require closing State Road 58 for up to 30 days.

County road detours will be posted prior to each closure.
