IU Office Of International Development Looking For Volunteers To Host Indonesian Students And Adult Educators

(BLOOMINGTON) - The IU Office of International Development is looking for volunteers to take part in a unique opportunity to engage with Indonesian high school students and adult educators who will be visiting Bloomington from April 6th through the 20th.

Students will be learning about community involvement, diversity, leadership, and civic responsibility.

Participants range in age from 15 to 19 years old, speak English, and are eager for an American experience during their visit to the area.

Program activities will take place between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Host families are asked to provide transportation, share family meals, and include the students in their normal household activities.

Special arrangements can be made for households with schedule conflicts.
