(BEDFORD) - An Illinois woman was arrested after police found intoxicated sitting in a parked car in the 2400 block of Mitchell Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Bedford Police arrested 23-year-old Misty Henson of Claremont, IL on a charge of public intoxication.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, police went to the address after receiving a call of a woman slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle for more than 45 minutes.
"She was disoriented and had slurred speak," says Chief Parsley. "She told police she had taken medication, but she couldn't produce a prescription for the medication."
