Humane Society Of Jackson County 'My Furry Valentine' Event Saturday Will Raise Funds For Homeless Animals

(SEYMOUR) - The Humane Society of Jackson County will conduct a special event from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 11 to raise funds to benefit homeless animals in Seymour.

The My Furry Valentine silent auction will include many items for attendees to bid on, and the event also will feature a dessert tasting.

The fundraiser will be conducted in the conference room at the Community Foundation of Jackson County, 107 Community Drive, Seymour.

The humane society is a private nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves the residents and animals of Seymour through its shelter at 1109 G Ave. West, Freeman Field.

The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. weekdays and from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays.
