Five Arrested In Pekin

(PEKIN) - Five people were arrested Thursday after police went to a home to serve arrest warrants in Pekin.

At 9:30 p.m. Washington County Sheriff's Deputies and Pekin Town Marshal Jeff Thomas went to a home at 522 Charles Street to serve arrest warrants on 55-year-old Tony Boes and 32-year-old Amy Boes.

When police officers arrived at the front door, Amy Boes ran from the back of the house and was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

Police found Tony Boes hiding in the bathroom with drug items in plain view.

That gave police probable cause to seek a search warrant for the home.

Police arrested on the following charges:

Amy L. Boes, 32, Pekin -- resisting law enforcement and warrants in Jefferson and Floyd counties.
Gary L. Lathem, 50, New Albany -- visiting a common nuisance.
Jessa D. Parker, 33, Pekin -- visiting a common nuisance.
Teresa D. Neely, 49, Pekin -- visiting a common nuisance.
Tony L. Boes, 55, Pekin -- maintaining a common nuisance, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to deal, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to deal, possession of a legend drug, possession of meth, possession with meth with the intent to deal and wanted on a warrant in Clark County.
