Fifth Civil War Reenactment This Weekend At Spring Mill State Park

(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park is ready to put on their Fifth Civil War Reenactment.

Battles will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The village will be open both days from 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Civil War battle reenactments will be fought on the trails and hills surrounding the historic village and in the historic village itself.

Visit with Union and Confederate soldiers and civilians with the 44th Tennessee Company K Civil War Reenactors both before and after the battle reenactments. Warm yourself by a campfire and learn about the winter life of a civil war soldier.

The featured event is a program portraying a winter tactical battle at 2 p.m. on both days. At 1:50 p.m., visitors will be directed to the viewing areas where they can safely view the program that depicts a battle for possession of the village.

Admission:

Park admission during the event is $7 per vehicle for in-state residents and $9 per vehicle for out-of-state residents. In addition, 2018 annual entrance passes are available.
